How do I make a reservation?
You can reserve securely on our website or by calling us at 512-220-1795.
*Guests must call or email us for ANY modifications or cancellations to direct booking reservations made before April 1, 2024.
What payment methods are accepted?
A major credit card is required for all reservations. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Guests must present a matching ID and the credit card used to reserve upon check-in.
For Long Term Stay (30+ nights) reservations, advance payment with USD check is accepted. A credit card will be accepted for initial deposit without fee. Payments of remaining balance on a credit card will incur a fee.
When will payment be taken?
Payment is taken at check-in for reservations that have our standard 48 hour cancellation policy. For non-refundable reservations, full payment will be taken at the time of booking.
What is your pre-authorization policy?
Within 48 hours of your arrival or upon check in, we will take a $250 - $500 hold on the provided credit card for incidentals.
Do you offer free internet access?
Free WiFi is available in all guest rooms and public spaces. If you have special requirements additional premium bandwidth is available for a fee.
Is on-site parking available?
Garage parking is available for $30 per night, plus tax. Please let us know when making your reservation if you will need parking.
What time is check- in and check-out?
Check-in time is 3pm, check-out time is 11am local time.
Are there any additional fees?
A 17% Austin/Texas Hotel and Occupancy Tax is not included in the nightly rate and will be added to your reservation.

What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel your reservation you may do so free of charge up to 48 hours prior to check-in. Reservations canceled within 48 hours of check-in are subject to a cancellation fee of 1 night stay plus tax.

Are firearms permitted at the hotel?
No, we prohibit visitors from carrying, storing or possessing a firearm while at the hotel and/or coffee bar. This policy applies to all firearms.
Do you allow smoking at the hotel?
Colton House Hotel is 100% non-smoking. We do not offer any smoking rooms.
Do you allow pets?
UPDATED POLICY: Up to 2 well-behaved dogs per room are welcome. There is a $50+tax non-refundable fee per stay. Please let us know in advance so we can be sure a pet-friendly room is available for the dates of your stay. Guests are responsible for any damage or disruptions caused by their dog. Due to insurance requirements, some breeds are not permitted. Restricted breeds:
Pit Bulls
Doberman Pinschers
Rottweilers
Chows
Bull Mastiffs
German Shepherds
Any mixed breed of the above mentioned
Trained attack or guard dogs
Fighting dog or dog bred for fighting
Sorry, but we do not accept cats.
Do you allow children?
Children of all ages are more than welcome. We offer several kid-friendly amenities and packages including cribs, high chairs and Pack-n-Plays.
Do You Have A Restaurant?
We have a Coffee Bar with a wide range of beverage options. Simona’s Coffee + Cocktails at Colton House Hotel.
Do you have a pool?
Yes, Colton House has a seasonal outdoor pool located in our private backyard oasis. Pool hours are from 9am to 9pm.
The pool is closed for the winter (December - March).
